The day begins at the water’s edge. The light’s low, the air’s cool and the first layer goes on without thought.

‘From First Light’ observes the early hours and how the light falls in spring. Shot on medium format and 35mm film by Ruby Hamilton on the southern East Coast.

The pictures follow the day as it opens up.

THE COLLECTION:

For Spring Summer ‘26, Taylor Sport presents a collection informed by gradual change. Soft, natural layers made to  be worn as the day warms, zipped up at first, then loosened and pushed back.

The new Resort Zip Up and matching Resort Shorts are cut in 100% cotton terry, a different feel from the brushed fleece of the best-selling cotton blend Heritage Hoodie.

Scoop tanks in a modal-elastane blend add a lightweight layer with a little stretch for all day comfort.

The fully lined and lightly structured Barrel Pants join the line, made to live alongside classic boatnecks and  coastal striped tees.

LAYERED EARLY, LIVED IN ALL DAY:

Elevated silhouettes arrive in natural, lived-in materials, in a palette of powder blue, buttercream, dusty pink, cloud grey, linen and deep navy.

Layered early, simplified by midday and lived in all evening. A uniform made for the whole day.
